BFing moms...pumping question?
Since I had a nice long weekend; I packed up my pump on Wednesday and didnt look at it again until yesterday...
Im pumping significantlly less than usual, during my regular pumping sessions at work...
Is this normal???? Will it go back up???
I thought if anything Id pump more- since the baby nursed so much over the past 4 days...???
(ETA- I usually have an extra 2 pumping sessions/day early AM and late PM; which I didnt do during "vacation" but will need to go back to doing; since Im back to work)

Yes, I think it's normal that if you only nursed over the four day weekend and didn't do the 'extra' pumping sessions early AM/late PM, you'll pump less today.
Your body is very efficient -- if it thinks you don't need the extra milk, it won't make the 'extra'.
The good news is, the more pump this week, the more it will make...

Re: BFing moms...pumping question?
Wasn't the long weekend of no pumping so nice?! I only pumped 2x in four days... it was a nice vacation of the 3x/day that starts up again today.
I always thought that BFing so much over the weekend would up my supply but I usually find that Mondays my supply is a little less than usual. I think it's because I don't stick to my oatmeal eating and mothers milk tea drinking like I do at work and I hardly pump. Usually by Tuesday I am back to pumping what I normally can.

ITA. You supply should go back up as you pump more.
