Biden's first 50 days
https://www.pbs.org/newshour/politics/where-biden-stands-on-key-promises-in-his-first-50-days 61 promises made for his first 100 days. 16 kept 38 in progress.
16 of 61 = 26% (in 50 days)
https://www.businessinsider.com/trump-first-100-days-promises-2017-4
The Associated Press identified 38 specific promises Trump made in his 100-day "contract" with voters, only 10 of which he fulfilled.
10 of 38 = 26% (in 100 days)
I think the numbers show that Biden is actually doing work, and not playing golf all the time.

Re: Biden's first 50 days
I have no complaints thus far. I feel like he's working hard towards making things better. If nothing else, things feel less chaotic and after the last 4 years that's a welcome change.

Re: Biden's first 50 days
Now how about they let him take questions from the media. It’s more than just signing bills and ones you have to ask your VP what you are signing and are told, just sign it.
I will be impressed when they don’t shoo away the press and let him speak on his own to see if he truly can do that.

I find it so odd that you have this endless obsession with Biden speaking as opposed to the job he's doing. As if Biden has some bar to reach or big shoes to fill.
Trump was a bumbling, stupid, inept fool who used any media event to just pat himself on the back. He wasn't dispensing any useful information or demonstrating any leadership. He was an embarrassment. I guess all of that chaos and BS really resonated with you. Sad. LOL
Less talking, more working. That is what I expect and want in a president. Biden is doing just fine in that department.

just yesterday, a couple of higher-ups at work were talking about how the climate in all of their stations has cooled down since the change. there are hardly any more verbal political altercations! people have gone back to "just doing their jobs" instead of spewing the venom they were spouting just a few months ago.
i've also noticed that a lot of the people at the bottom rung of the company just seem calmer and happier.
there is a LOT less tension everywhere i go.

I need to know why you care so much if he speaks to the media.
Trumps biggest fault was his mouth. Maybe if he kept it shut he would have been more tolerable.
I prefer to not hear any politician speak including the president. Let them do their jobs ... not that I think any politician does their job well!

Rumors aren't facts.
Trump was wholly unfit to carry the responsibility of the office he held but that didn't seem to bother you one bit.

I don’t mention Trump like you do. I am concentrating on Biden and I want to know when he will be able to work on his own. He can’t do anything on the fly as the WH is holding him back. Glad it doesn’t concern you as it concerns many, even ones who voted for him.

Omg she asked why people wanted to hear him speak. That’s a big reason why people want to hear him. Must you argue with everything.

The WH obviously doesn’t think he can. Time and time again the media is told to leave. He even wanted to take questions the other day and they cut him off. It is not him, it is his entourage not wanting him to talk.

Yes because she is still hung up on Trump who seems she followed everyday when even Trump supporters didn’t. Talk abo it obsessed.
I would love for my president to answer a question off the fly as it would assure me he is able to do so and not just a puppet of the left.

Well if you really wanna know no most of my communications are through emails! Don’t get me wrong I do have meetings but I don’t have them daily. To the fact of not answering questions I guess it depends on the question but if o get answer verbally or through written it wouldn’t make a difference to me!

Once a quarter, the CEO of my company sends out either an email, or a prepared speech about the status of the company. The company is doing well, so that's fine for me. I don't need him to answer questions on the fly.

You work for that CEO. The President works for me. I expect a demonstration of a capable world-leader, which Biden is unable to fulfill.

The irony of people demanding a capable leader after they spent FOUR YEARS supporting an inept fool is epic level amusing. Now they have standards? Now they need leadership? Now they need a commanding force at press conferences? Ummm, ok.

I think Biden has been available to comment but, like you, I would like to see him hold a press conference. I'm interested in his address tonight as well. I don't think his not having a press conference is nefarious as you do though. He has been out and about and has done a Town Hall. He was talking with small business owners either earlier this week or last last week. I don't think it's due to senility as you do though.

What policies are you referring to? 76% of Americans are in favor of continued support during the pandemic. Biden's approval rating is 56% via Gallop. The biggest discourse that I hear is coming from the top. Wall Street wants their bubble to stay as is. They like the tax breaks that flow upwards. The 1% does not benefit from Biden's policies the way they have for the last 4 years. That is the group with the biggest discourse from what I read.

Yea but this will be a teleprompter and planned questions, if there are any.
Yes he went to talk to them and when they started asking questions in the media, they were told to leave. This is a constant thing. We don’t know what it is if you don’t give him a chance.

Yes and supposedly I think he is having one tonight. Not sure if this is just a teleprompter deal or if he actually takes off the flu questions, not ones known before.
