OMG are you all seriously trying to debate who is healthier or more fit to be president, Trump or Biden?
They are both too old!!! Neither is healthy enough. It's a sad, sad state that these two were our choices. It doesn't matter if Biden is "better." They were both horrible choices for many reasons, but first and foremost that their advanced age puts us all at risk for many things. I would have hoped that this fact alone might have united us as a nation but not even that could help us.
The sad thing is the democrats could have chosen ANYONE and they chose Biden. Republicans were pretty much stuck with their idiot candidate. People are so caught up being on one side or the other they are losing site of the fact that out of all the wonderful, qualified people in this nation who could have been our president, we were deciding between these two barely capable elderly men.
Yes! If you have to be 35 to run, I think they should cap the age too.
Although, I am not concerned about Biden's health. He seems to be in good physical shape and I think claims about his mental status are completely exploited. But I guess time will tell.

TBH, I don't think Democrats had a big pool to choose from. No one is lining up to take this job. This is going to be a big undertaking that will take years and several more terms to fix regardless of who went in office.
In my opinion there were many candidates that blew Biden away that were willing and able. Buttigieg and Bloomberg just to name a couple. Hopefully Biden will step down before the next election because then you will be stuck with him running as the incumbent and I can not imagine many people being eager to elect someone that is 81 years old at the beginning of his presidency.

Biden's health
Biden is a life long stutterer that makes him appear like he can’t find words. It’s monumental that he has overcome that disability.
And if he does, like any other president then the VP takes over.

I agree. I think Biden was chosen by the DNC as a "safe bet". Old, straight, white guy that is a moderate/right leaning Dem that they were hoping some Republicans might vote for. They didn't want to be too "radical" with a female, POC, gay man, etc. I don't agree that that's how you should pick the candidate in the primary, I just think that's what the DNC did.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of the DNC. I think much of them are out of touch. I agree that Biden was selected to appeal to the masses, a much safer choice.
I do find it funny when Conservatives bemoan that Biden is some crazy leftist and will pull us all into socialism. To pretty much all leftists, he isn't anywhere near left enough.

It has nothing to do with his stuttering. I would never make fun of anyone with a stutter. My concern is he can't remember names. He couldn't remember his own granddaughters the other day.

Not for nothing, but I barely remember my daughter's name. I call her more by the dog name than hers lol.
I have no issue with their health. I do think that there should be an age cap though as I think both are too old. I believe that they brought in Biden to calm the mess as he is relatively well respected on both sides and to clear the way for Kamala. I would not be surprised if he stepped down by year 2 and she took over. The term limit is 10 years, correct?
While I am not a democrat, I really wish Buttigeig would have gotten the nomination as I liked him.

I won’t even give him that long. They want a woman president too badly. I actually feel bad for the guy as he is being used and his family knows it and allowing it.

Bloomberg dropped out. Yes Biden was a safe bet but I still stand by that there were not many choices out there.
Regardless of what people are saying, 4 years isn’t going to accomplish much. Its hard for any president to make segway with a the country in a good state in 4 years, pretty much impossible with the current state we are in to make complete changes. They can start building and beginning the process but 4 years is not a lot of time. And I’m not talking about Covid, as that’s going to fix itself since it’s a virus and has only been an issue in the past year. I’m referring to the bigger issues that has been going on for several years.

Biden can choose not to run for a second term. Honestly, if there was a capable Republican candidate running in the next election, that is also an option. Me personally, I’m not married to voting democratic in every election. I think most felt that Trump needed to go and this seemed the best way to do it.

Biden's health
Not concerned. I do think they are both just too old, and I agree with a PP that I would have voted for Buttigieg or Bloomberg in a heartbeat. I am not a Biden fan, however I don't hate him like I hate Trump. And he is NO WAY too far left. Sanders is extreme left...definitely not Biden, not even Harris. I think AOC when I think extreme left.

Re: Biden's health
I think both Trump and Biden are both way too old for this job. In fact, I think that you should not be able to run for office if older than 64 years old (you can run if 64, but not older). That way no one older than 70 can hold an elected position. Even Supreme Court Justices should have mandated retirement by age 70. If you have to meet an age threshold to run for office, there should also be an max age to which you can no longer run.
The median age of death in US is 77, Biden will be over that when inaugurated. That's crazy. Just listening to him speak, you can tell he cannot articulate like he once could. He stutters far more than he did and just looks tired and weak. When I listen to him I cannot help noticing and cringing when he slurs his words. He must have had a TIA or mini stroke. Or maybe he's just getting old. That being said I do not wish ill on him, I pray that he can make it for 4 years.

Not sure what you are trying to convey? Doesn't it trouble you that (except for Carter) he is OLDER than all other previous TWO TERM presidents? Are we all ignoring the elephant in the room? He is really, really old.

I just don’t understand this logic. Does everyone forget that Trump is only 3 years younger than Biden? And has a poor diet, obesity, caught the Rona, and has symptoms of having had a possible stoke? He has something odd where he can barely hold a cup of water and has an balance issue. He leans on podiums and shifts when he has to stand. He was also rushed last year to WR for an undisclosed medical emergency.
Call them both old at least. Not just one.

I just thought it was interesting. I hadn't realized that Trump, Clinton & Bush were all born in the same year.
He honestly doesn't seem that much older than Trump to me, but I am in the "they are all too old" camp. It would be nice to see someone younger next time ( on both sides), but then you get the "not enough experience" criticism. There's a narrow window I guess. . .
