I initially thought that too especially because he likes rough sex, and because they keep focusing on the shoes displayed in Perry and Celeste's walk in closet (just like the shoe on the floor that Jane focused on after being raped) but I feel that it'd be too obvious and predictable for him to be the one, it's almost as if they want us to believe Perry is the rapist. Oh and I'm also noticing that he's the only husband (if I don't bad remember) that hasn't met Jane yet. Unless the real surprise and twist end up being the murderer and not the person being murdered which I believe is the same person that raped Jane.
I feel the same way about Ziggy being the one that bullies Amabella, they want us to believe that.

DH and I always laugh when watching shows together because I usually call the plot twist way before it happens. That's when I say "I wrote that part".
I just have a sneaking suspicion because perry is always away. We know he's abusive. He also has the same physical description as her rapist. She has the gun. Guessing she went to the fundraiser, saw him and shot him.
that's how I would write it Hahahaha so I'm going with it.

No, they don't mention anyone's names...not for the person that raped Jane, the one that gets killed at the end, or the person that kills him/her.
I haven't read the book either and I refuse to read it till the end of the series lol!!!

Interesting. I totally missed the part about the shoes.
That scene where she went and saw Saxon whatever was a little confusing. I couldn't tell if she recognized him or not. At first, I thought she did and she was freaked out by him but he seemingly had ZERO recollection of her.
Do you take it that whoever raped her left by walking on the beach and when she flashes back to running on the beach in the dress, she's actually running after him but she loses him when his foot prints disappear in the sand?
I think I need to re-watch the whole series. I multi task too much when I'm watching and I'm missing stuff.

Me too, but still good. I had read the book a while back, but luckily I read so many books that I didn't really remember how it turned out. Or maybe that's why it ended the way I thought, come to think of it, because I did remember. Lol!
