big sister gift ideas?
I'm a couple of weeks away from having my 2nd DD, and thinking I want to buy something for my almost 5 year old DD as a little gift. Any ideas? Not really into the book idea or matching shirts because we've gotten a few of those already... TIA!

A baby doll to take care of her baby while you take care of your new little one? Or a pretty bracelet as a keepsake? Congratulations.

What about a baby doll and stroller? My friend’s daughter loved to push her doll in the stroller next to mom and the baby in the stroller.
Otherwise what about something that’s just for her? If she likes crafting, a little set, or a vet set (if she’s into animals), or coloring supplies, Barbie, etc.

When my DS was born I bought my DD a cute tote bag that said, "Big Sister" and filled it with all of her favorite snacks and things at the time. We gave it to her in the hospital so she'd keep busy and feel special.

One gift that I have given is a day at a little girls' salon/spa so that big sister can get lots of special time.

We did a big sister book and a toy she'd been wanting. We also said it was from her baby brother, which she loved.

Thanks everyone! I found these cute adjustable bracelets for a big sister and little sister, and got those "cuddle + kind" stuffed animals. They sell a 20 inch one and a matching 13 inch one. So I figured it would be cute for each of them to have the matching dolls and bracelets :)
I loved that idea of the tote bag too! If she was able to visit me at the hospital I would totally do that, but the reality is I'm probably giving birth and getting sent home the next day. They are sending new babies home so quickly bc of covid
