Re: Bike/big wheels for a 2 year old?

A very lightweight tricycle is what I recommend. MY son had one that the parent pushed by a handle, and we always used that for walking around the block, but then someone gave him an old lightweight plastic tricycle (hand me down) and he rode right away. He could never ride that other tricycle that we bought. The other kids in the neighborhood caould always ride his, but long before their own. Moms around here all tried to get the same type of thing because they saw how easy it was.
Big wheels are generally too big, and they can not reach the pedals until they are over 40 inches. The old fashioned trikes are great.
