Birth Control Pills and Bleeding(sorry if it's TMI)
I started my BCP's five days ago which was the 3rd day of my period. It seemed my period ended two days ago but just now I wiped and have dark brown blood. Could this be breakthrough bleeding since its the first time that I'm taking BCP's? Only after 5 days of using them? If this were to continue this whole month how will I know when my actual period comes, because once my August period does come is when I'm starting my FET.
Thank you.

Sometimes I have residual bleeding after my period - like what you described - I wouldn't think anything of it. If it was bright red, I would be concerned.

Could be break-through bleeding...I had it for abt two weeks when I was on BCP. Just as it was stopping I got my period...there was no question when it came.

Totally normal. Your body isn't used the the level hormones that the bcps re regulating you at. BTB will be light if it continues the entire month. You'll get your full flow a few days after stopping the bcps. Plus, your RE will check your hormone levels before starting a FET (or anything for that matter) to make sure they've returned to baseline levels.
