Bizarre gym occurance
I was running on the treadmill using the cardio theatre. I left my ear buds plugged in when I went to get a paper towel to wipe down the machine. I came back and someone jumped on the machine already AND WAS USING MY HEADPHONES while working out. I stood there and giggled at first but then I got pizzed because I really liked them and got grossed out so I left them. I kept watching her from across the gym enjoying my property.
Who does that?

Ew, that's gross!! I would have unplugged them from the machine and ripped them out of her ears...

At first read I was thinking that maybe this girl was new to the gym and didn't realize that the ear pieces didn't belong to the treadmill. But seriously? That's worse! I wouldn't want to put buds in that had been in one persons head - never mind countless waxy ears!

Seriously. I would have taken them from her explaining that they weren't hers to use. Then I probably would have wiped them down with alcohol and gone on my merry way.

me too thats the first hing I thought since I am new to the gym scene and there is certain unwritten etiqette you need to learn....
but ya know, I *still* would not use public ear phones!
