I love their music but they are TERRIBLE live. That was the absolute worst.
I said the EXACT same thing. So glad I never wasted $$ on tickets

While I agree they do not have the best voices, their songs are catchy and I like them. I thought the performance was good.

I have never liked them, not even for one song. I turned the channel when it was halftime and judging by everything I've read since, it was the best decision I made all night!

i usually like them and their songs...but the halftime show was AWFUL! they sounded terrible. Fergie was basically just screaming and she totally butchered Sweet Child of Mine

I love their studio music, but not a huge fan of their live stuff.
Was I missing something, or was half of the "V" not lit up on their "LOVE" stage?

WOW!!
Ya know, I actually totally disagree. I thought they did a great job and for LIVE music I think it was awesome!!! No one can sing on key,running around crazy performing and not have a couple of moments..
The whole show was awesome. I actually didn't realize how many popular songs they actually have... Then the whole slash/fergie sweet child o'mine rendition...... That was killer too!! I  slash to this day !!!!

maybe I am biased b/c my son was dancing around like a maniac, but I thought it was fine.
I mean, I don't expect much to begin with from most Pop bands, so maybe my expectations where lower...but the kids had fun and their songs are catchy. no problems here.

My first introduction to the Black Eyed Peas was at a live show. I think they were opening for Gwen Stefani and it was back before they had any big hits. They were SO awful. I'll agree that they now have some catchy songs but after that show I don't think I could ever really like them. If you can't put on a good show, then as a musical artist/performer, you're not the complete package. Anyone can sound good in a studio.

I didn't see the half time show, but I've actually seen them live twice and thought they were awesome both times. Maybe something was off last night.

I will happily join your club! HATE that song, and it is SO PLAYED OUT! Plus the year it came out I went to 7 weddings and it played at EACH ONE.

I usually like or kind of like their songs, but the "singing" last night was awful. Fergie CANNOT sing.
They just really pizzed me off when they butchered GnR though!
I like the glowy people though
