Do u have a blanket in the crib.
My mom keeps on telling to put a blanket in the crib.
DD is all of the place in the cirb so it will be off of her.
What do u think

Re: Blanket in crib
I use the sleep sack b/c I'm so afraid of it getting wrapped around her or something. She is 6 months old.

Re: Blanket in crib
We have two. The one he cuddles with and the one that covers him so he doesn't get cold.
We've probably been like that since it got cooler, and he was about 6 months old then.

Personally - if your DC doesn't need it - I wouldn't put it in. I've heard too many horror stories. The sleep sack works perfectly.

Re: Blanket in crib
DS is all over the place in his crib. He has a sleep sack.
He puts all blankets in his mouth and leave the blanket on top of his head.

Re: Blanket in crib
I still don't have a blanket in DS' crib. He's all over the place. I put him in one way at night and find him completley opposite the next AM. Im too nervous. His room is toasty. I always feel his hands before I turn in for the night and if they are cold, I'll raise the temp a little bit. Usually he's fine.

Re: Blanket in crib
yes, two of them..one under his head and one over him. He usually kicks them off him. I didnt put them in, till I knew he could pull them off himself.
The sleepsack constricts him too much, he moves all over and he freaks when the sacks on him.

Re: Blanket in crib
DD is almost 6 months old and I put her in the sleep sacks. She does laps around her crib and would never stay under a blanket and I think she'd probably get tangled in one.

No, never. I am way too scared of the "what ifs". I keep her layered and her room is comfortable.

Re: Blanket in crib
No blanket for DS. I'm scared to death of him getting tangled in it. He was in sleep sacks, but now that he's flipping and going back to sleep on his front, I want nothing that can tangle in his legs til he gets proficient.

ITA My DS is 4.5 months and we just use the sleep sack and will continue doing this for awhile.
