blood clotting diorders

i have the APS clotting disorder. I am doing IVF now. Does anyone who has this know if we need to see a perinatologist when we get pregnant? I have heard yes and no. I forgot to ask my nurse today.

thanks!

Are you on Lovenox? You probably should be. I have done all routes-had my RE or regular IB handle this, my sister had a regular ob and saw a hematologist 1X per month, With this pregnancy I was at a high risk multiples clinic but I just recently switched to a new Dr and they are a regular OB and are handling my meds. They just switched me to heparin in case of early delivery. I am 33.5 weeks.

I also have MTHFR and my OB once mentioned seeing a high risk doc, but my RE has never said anything.
