We've got a 325xi and I don't think it would be. I don't have kids so I don't know how much space a car seat really takes up, but I don't consider the backseat of the car to be roomy.

I've fit 3 adults in the back seat going out. It might be cramped for 3 carseats though!

No, it is not that roomy and it would be hard if you have to bend over
to strap them in and out.

NO way! My BIL is taking on the lease of our X3 because with baby #2 coming, there is just no room, and the trunk is small. We are getting a bigger truck.
