I knew it was a set up, but thought they would either hurt/shoot him and leave it hanging... NEVER thought they would just kill him off. :(

I read that Michael Pitt was let go. It must have been a great kept secrect but although there were many signs of it, I did not think they would kill him off.

This will explain the reasons the writer had for kiling him off. It also goes on to explain that it is def not a dream, and he is dead. They are keeping Houston (Richard) on thankfully.

I'm soooooo upset too!!! Jimmy was my fave! he is soooo cute too! meanwhile they killed him right after i was going on & on to my husband about how cute he was & how nice his butt was! my husband was like "TAKE THAT!!!!!!!!!" hahahaha!!!
I love Nucky too but him killing jimmy makes me not like him anymore. I wonder if richard will do the horizontal hula with jimmy's mom now? LOL
Also, whats up with Margaret giving the land to the church?!?!?! do you think Nucky will kill her for that??? Urghhhh stupid HBO making us wait forever until the next season!!

I too cannot believe they killed Jimmy off and I cannot believe that Nucky killed him. Dont you find it odd that Jimmy didnt come Armed at all? It was kind of like he wanted to die. He knew he was coming to meet the man that killed his wife....Why wouldnt he come armed and ready to kill him? I think he just gave up.
I feel bad for his son on the show - He lost his mom and dad and now has to live with the crazy grand mother. She is going to mold him into a leader like Jimmy and his dad I bet. I wonder if next season will be a few years from now when Jimmys son is a lot older....
Margaret is going to get herself killed - When Nucky finds out he wont be able to build his super highway because the land isnt his anymore and it belongs to the church - He is going to be pissssed.

I definitely think he realized he would never be able to get past the things he had done, and the reasons why he became the man who he is. He gave up, and walked into that fight knowing he would die. As soon as I saw the dog tags on his son I knew for sure this was his choice.

finally watched this, i was SHOCKED! I really didn't think they would kill off Jimmy since he was a main character. But I think he knew that he was going to die, he told his friend not to come with him, didn't come armed, and gave his son his dog tags so I think he knew already. Margaret is crazy giving all this money and now Nucky's land to the church, I guess its her way of letting her guilt go knowing that she is married to a mobster... I wonder how Nucky will react now!
