Other. I took mine out because I gained weight and it looked stupid - my naval ring that is.
I took out my lip and noserings years ago when looking for a job.

I took out my navel ring because I had a baby and had to - never put it back - donn't plan to. I'll be 39 this summer, my belly isn't flat and frankly, do I REALLY want to draw attention to that part of my body when I am toting a baby around? As for my nipple piercing, I took it out mid-pregnancy when I determined I would nurse. I never put it back in. Don't plan to. I do feel that my age is a factor in my choice.

my first piercing (other than the normal hole in the ear) was at 17, by the time i was 23 or so (when it became a fad) i took them out.
i had 27 total. i am 35 now, and still open (they never closed) are my bottom bellybutton hole (i had 4 in my belly button) and my LaBret.
for some reason they just didnt close on me

I have 8 holes in my ears (4 each). I wear 3 out of the 4 earrings and don't plan on taking them out!

I'm 24 and I won't be taking any of mine out any time soon. I recently pierced my lip on both sides and had my labret done all at once.
just a POA, take them out! i know, most people probably won't listen to me, but i had my labret done when i was 16, then had my snake bites (lip on both sides) around 19.. took both of them out around 22 and i'm paying for them now. my gums are completely screwed, i have to have periodontal surgery and have a gum graft made for my bottom gums because it completely chipped away my gums. i know it's cool or you like it, but it really isn't good for you. i can't believe i sound like an old lady!
i used to have my belly button pierced, took that out when it got infected, had my septum done when i was 18, took that out around 20, had my tongue done twice, took them out almost immediately after the piercer screwed up and told me to come back at a certain time after the first one, and it was apparently too soon and i had a huge keiloid on my tongue. i also used to stretch my ears and had them to 7/16ths, took them out a long time ago (i'm only 25) and they're stuck to around an 8 gauge. i got tired of them, felt like i was getting too old. i finally took all of my nightmare before christmas stuff out of my car (i had like car seat covers, etc) and felt like it was time to move on. i guess getting pregnant changed my point of view on life :-/ i'm still not done with tattoos though. that's just a part of who i am

I used to have 5 piercings in each ear. I took the top 2 out around '96 when I was 22.
I stopped wearing the 3rd holes in '98 @ 24.
I stopped wearing the 2nd holes in 2000 @ 26.
Navel piercing was done when I was 18 in '93. I removed it for the birth of my DS in 2008. My stomach isn't worthy of displaying any piercings.

I took out my tongue and nose piercings when I was about 22. I was working in an office environment where I couldn't keep them in.
I think I took my belly button ring out when I was 20 or 21. I just got tired of it.
These days I only have my ear piercings (2 in each ear).

I pierced my nose at 15 then got a second one in my nose at 18. I also lived with a body piercer for a while and he pierced my tongue. I never really like that one so I took it out after several months. The nose rings I had to remove for work every day, and every night I would put them back in. After a while I just became bored with them and also having to take them out all the time so I just left them out (think I was about 21). I still have 2 holes on the side of my nose. I just don't think I could put anything through them at this point! I am 31 now.

i have a tongue ring and i only take it out when conducting business with clients and I had a belly button ring but took it out when i had my first child. I am going to get it back again though i miss it.

My piercings are pretty conservative - I have two in each ear. I had 3 at one point, but the holes got infected and I took them out. I wouldn't get a tatoo (religious reasons). On one hand, I think that what people do to their bodies is their business. On the other, I'd be a little thrown off by a teacher or a cop or a salesman with green hair and nose and eyebrow piercings - I don't think it matches a "preofessional" image, KWIM?

I had three holes in each ear but stopped wearing the second and third holes sometime in college because it started bothering me to sleep with studs in and I couldn't be bothered to take the time to put them back in.
I had my navel pierced at 19 and took it out during my 9th month of pregnancy. I really wanted to keep it, but my belly got so taut, the temporary plastic ring was being pushed out (and pushing on the skin in front of it) and I had to remove it. My scarred and stretched navel doesn't need the adornment now.

I think that as long as YOU feel comfortable with it, then you should keep them. I got my tongue ring at around 18, took it out prob around 24-25. I didnt want it anymore. My belly ring came out when I had to go into the hospital and then it closed up. Maybe when my stomachs flat I'll do it again 
I don't think age should matter.

I'll be 27 in May and I have my nose, tongue, tragus and industrial piercings in addition to 3 (on each ear) reg. piercings. I don't have any plans on taking any of them out.

The peircing that lasted the longest was my belly ring, which I took out at about 7 mts pregnant and just forgot to put back in.
I had my ears pierced ALL the way up, but only use the 1 on each ear now. I would do a double, but I forget to put a stud in.
The tongue ring I took out in my 20's - no reason, I was just done with it. My septum I also took out around that time - I actually thought it was a stupid piercing!
My nose I had done as well - Also out in my 20's... I think about having it again, but with my job I don't think it's professional.

i have a nose ring  i wear really tiny studs - im going to be 25, i should be over it by now but i like it and DH loves it so it stays 
i have my bellybutton too
i did have my eyebrows (dont know what i was thinking b/c i have such an ugly scar!) and my tongue - but those were out by the time i was like 18

I had 8 holes in my ears (5 lobe, 3 cartilage) - I took them out the summer after I graduated law school (age 26). I just felt like it was time.

I took my tongue piercing out on my 30th birthday (mostly because it cause gum problems for me) but I've kept the others in. I am 35.
same here except I had to take out the rest when I had m first c-section. I will eventually put them back in now that we are done with kids
