Body Support - Car Seat
Are you going to be using the separate body support with your infant car seat?

Re: Body Support - Car Seat
Not sure which carseat you have, but I think you have to use the NB insert that comes with the carseat until your LO hits a certain weight. I would not put anything else in/on the carseat.

We are going to be using the Chicco Keyfit 30. How about the straps covers so the rough straps aren't rubbing LO's face? Are those a no too?

Re: Body Support - Car Seat
From my understanding, you are not to add anything to the carseat. Everything that comes with it is safety tested and approved.
Chicco car seats have that nice cushy insert and strap pads already dont they? Im pretty sure mine does.

I don't remember the strap pads. I am going to take the body support off of my registry now. Thanks!!! Not sure if I should leave the strap covers.

Re: Body Support - Car Seat
I have the Chicco Key Fit as well. I had also received the body support and strap covers off of my registry. Afterwards, I posted a thread on the parenting board and was told that these are a big no-no. Unfortunately, I had already taken them out of the box, washed, etc. I think maybe I'll hang on to them for the stroller if need be. Here is the link to my thread a few weeks ago and the responses if you'd like to take a look:

Thanks for sharing this. I guess I should take off the straps as well. I have a question with the bundle me, it's ok to use outside but in the car you should take it off right? Is it supposed to be dangerous for the car? I think I heard about this somewhere I just can't remember exactly what it was.
