Book clubs
Does anyone belong to a book club? I belong to one at my library and I like it but..........everyone is MUCH older than me. We are talking in their 70's. I find myself holding back during discussions because of the age difference. The books that are chosen are either hit or miss, which I expect, but I would love to be a part of a group where the books are a little more "popular."

I used to belong to one, but I dropped out because I really wasnt enjoying the books that were chosen or the discussions. I dont think I'd join another one though...there are sooo many books out there that I want to read, I dont want to waste time reading something I'm not intersted in. I'm sure you could find one that has people a little closer to your age and picked books more to your liking. Maybe Meetup.com has some in your area?

There's a book club that the LIW NW's just started! We're reading "A Tree Grows in Brooklyn" and we're prob gonna meet to discuss it sometime in late April. I believe there's a thread about it on LIF's NW board!
