Booking flights through cruise line
Has anyone done this? Are there any advantages/disadvantages to doing it?
I usually just book flights on my own but we are going to do a European cruise with a few days before in Barcelona next year and was thinking of letting the cruise line take care of everything.
Thoughts??

Re: Booking flights through cruise line
My parents just went on a cruise out of Barcelona. They had the travel agent booked the flights. They had no issues at all, the prices were the same if they did it on their own. Also, when you do it all together like that sometimes it is easier to coordinate transfers to and from the pier as well. Have fun!

Can I ask what cruise line they used? We are thinking of Royal Carribean- thye seem to have the best prices fro what we are looking for.
I was thinking the same thing- if I book it all together it would be easier.

Advantage is if you are delayed they will handle all of the reschduilng for you and give you some reimursement.
Disadvantage is you won't have much control over your booking.

When you say you dont have much control over booking what do you mean? Like flight times and seats? Times wouldnt bother me as long as I get there but DH needs a aisle seat.
