Re: booster seat for car help

Honestly, I wouldn't register for a booster seat yet. You won't need it for 4-5 years from now. (DS is only going into a booster seat when he turns 6 next week). Why hold onto something that long. Technology may change, it may get mildew, it will age, etc. I would just register for the infant seat and the convertible seat, then see what you need in a few years. Chat Icon Chat Icon

I agree. My DD is 3 now and I just bought her a booster(Nautilus) after giving my DS her Britax Boulevard. If I didn't have a second she would have stayed in her Britax until she was 65lbs....I wouldn't register for one now Chat Icon

I thought the first and second one were for 30 pounds and above? meaning couldnt a 3 yr old go in one of those two?

The 3rd one is used with a seatbelt, so that's not entirely safe for a 3 year old. 5 point harness is the safest.

Also, I wouldn't register for a booster like another poster said. You won't use it for YEARS.

I believe a 2 year old can use the first 2.

Suitable for kids at least 25 lbs, 2 years of age, and 30" tall Chat Icon

Re: booster seat for car help

When my DD got to be 4-5 we put her in the Graco booster seat like the 3rd one you posted. It was great because the back is removable and she still uses the bottom at 8 to see out some of the windows.
But i agree, you won't need it for years so i wouldnt register for it now.

I love our Britax Boulevard. DD just started using it and she gets excited to go in her seat.

It's my personal favorite. DS has the Wizard, which was the model before the Boulevard, but the same seat essentially. He'll be 6 next week, and still using it. DD has a Boulevard, and she'll be 3 next month. She has a long time left in her seat as well... Chat Icon

DS just went into the turbobooster at 5.5. You have plenty of time. I would not register for it.
