Worst-DH having 2 surgeries-luckily he is okay

Losing BF's mom, who was like a 2nd mom to me

Worst:
My mom went through alot- Seeing her suffer through this depression almost had me checking into to therapy.

Two of my closest friends were on the brink of a divorce

I quit a great job & started another one which was a disaster.

The end of my friendship with my best friend.

Best:

I started a job I LOVE
Got pregnant
Got a puppy (He is what got me through this rough year)
Moved into my new apartment
Seen a bunch of cousins & friends get married.
Rekindled my relationship with my dad.
My parents are back together & for the first time in 7 years I spent Christmas with my father & mother (together)

I have to say.... This year started as a disaster but ended really awesome. Just goes to show that you never know what happens because alot CAN happen in a year!!!!!

Best: Traveling with DH on a few great vacations and celebrating our 1 year anniversary in Sedona, AZ.

Worst: Hitting an elk on vacation and totalling our rental car. Thank god we were ok and dh's insurance covered everything, but soooo scary!

best and worst happened at the same time.

best thng ever was the birth of our DD. But since she was 7 weeks early, we had to leave her in the NICU for 5 weeks, while she got bigger and stronger.

She is now 3 months old and over 10 pounds!!!

Best: going away on vacation with my family to disney

Worst: TTC and repeatedly failing every month--- (especially this month, after going thru injections and an IUI and finding out on Christmas that it didn't work)

Best: Geting a FT teaching job, vacation in LBI....so relaxing and we made great memories as a family

Worst: uncle's cancer scare/liver transplant...almost getting divorced

Our Wedding Day - absolutely amazing.
Figuring out, FINALLY, what I want to do forever.
Going back to school to chase my dreams

All in all, it was a great year but if I had to pick something - there was a job I had this summer that was REALLY lousy and the word lousy is an understatement - BUT - in the long-run, I had to have that job for a reason - I see that now - I had that so it would make me miserable and see the light and go after my dream.

This year s u c k e d. DH was diagnosed with depression. I only found out because he tried to commit suicide outside my church. Another bad thing is that DH and his friend are no longer on speaking terms.

There was some good though. We went to 3 weddings and moved. We also found out about 6 pregnancies of people we know. There were also 2 engagements.

Best: Lots of things, but mainly Ava's everyday accomplishments have been my shining moments.

Worst: Losing my grandfather.

Best: going to Vegas and Disney, my hubbys surprise 30th bday

Worst: losing 2 pregnancies, having a close relative sent to prison, pretty much the crappiest year ever for me

Best: Getting laid off in March which kick-started our Out Of State Home search..

Buying our first condo and moving to Massachusetts

Going to Seattle with my best friend for the most amazing trip ever!

Getting pregnant in Sept

Worst: Losing my 16 year old cousin to Cystic Fibrosis.

Worst= My house having a puff back from my burner, being a victim of road rage, DH in car accident, man who hit DH car lied and said he, the man who caused accident was driving a different car,2 root canals, one was infected, DH having to go for MRI and it scared us because they thought they saw something on his kidney, but it was nothing.
Best- NOTHING it was a miserable year for us and I am glad to see it go!! Bye Bye 2007!!!!!!

Best - my dad getting a cancer free diagnosis after having surgery to remove half his stomach and esophagus.

Worst - No big event stands out, just every day ups and downs. I consider myself lucky.

Graduated college, bought a new car, found a new home, got a great job with a great boss, married my best friend of nearly 8 years, spent a couple weeks in Rome and Florence, cut my hair (liberating ), read some great books..... and I'm typing this on my new computer, from my new couch, in my favorite sweats, while wrapped in David wright's arms. (OK OK - not the REAL arms - it's just a throw blanket...hahahahaha)

Worse: Our dog getting really sick and not knowing what it was
Best: Finding out that our dogs condition was treatable and she *should* lead a normal healthy life

Honestly after my mom getting diagnosed with cancer in 2005, my grandmother passing away in 2005 and my grandfather passing away in 2006 this year was a piece of cake compared to previous years... I am so thankful for a peaceful year after so many tough events in the past few years
