Herein lies my dilemma. I've never in all my career had such a great boss! But the job sux, royally. It's not stressful or any of that. I'm just really bored and not doing anything at all that I like.
I know what it's like to have a terrible boss. But I fell like I'd rather have that.

It's not that type of situation. I made a change coming to this job, and now 9 months later, I don't think it was the right thing to do.

I LOVE my job and hated my boss last year...I had to quit. My stomach was in knots every day and it was affecting my life outside of work...
I don't know about a so-so boss though, in my business they are either demonseeds or angels from above (and there are very few angels from above)

I voted for job I love, but I never underestimate the power of a great boss. Having a great boss can sometimes make up for other things that are lacking in a job.

I voted for job. It's a tough one, but I think at the nd of the day, what makes you come back to work is the job, not the boss, although a bad boss can sure make you run!
I would have to say most of my bosses ahve been around the same, but I've stuck it out only with the jobs I like.
For my job that I'm about to start I really like my boss, and I think I will like the job too (I'm familiar with both because when I was a part timer, my boss was in the position I'm about to enter, and he was my boss then, too)

I would prefer a job I love with a so-so boss.
I've been very fortunate to have jobs I love with great bosses except once and I didn't stay there long. I had a bitchy boss and a job I hated -- I started to have health problems dealing with that situation.

I don't love what I do, and I don't think I ever will but I'm good at it and it pays the bills so I keep coming to work every day. I do happen to LOVE my boss - or at least the most senior of the 4 that I have. It makes coming to work a lot easier.
I can't work with a boss that I hate. I have in the past and it gets so hard for me that eventually I put my job in jeopardy because I can't control my attitude after a while.
