Bottle Helpers
Hi ladies, I am 9 weeks pregnant with twins and am really nervous about feedings. I found these online and thought they might be useful. Has anyone used these before? Do they work? Thanks!! Image Attachment(s):

Re: Bottle Helpers
I have the bottom one it worked well. You can hold one baby and have the other in boppy pillow and prop the bottle with that or just hold both bottles.... you will see how creative you will become....

I have pictures on my computer at home that I can post later, but basically I put them in the Boppy pillow kind of leaning on their side a little bit. Then I put the bottle through the prop, and put the prop on the side part of the boppy or just kind of wedge it in somehow and the nipple is in their mouth. I hope that makes sense
You definitely need some kind of additional thing to balance the prop on like a pillow or the Boppy. I have also fed them in their carseats and the stroller using the bottle prop.

Re: Bottle Helpers
I used the bottle ones and they were a life saver for me at night!!! There is a weight at the bottom of it so I would put the baby on a boppy and turn his head and then put the bottle and bottle holder to that side and he sucked on the bottle all the way.
I also used a comforter to prop up the bottles. I posted a picture on this board awhile back. If you search my name you will find out. I can't find it right now.

I had one and it never worked for me. it FELL constantly!
Eventually I tossed it and just used burpie cloths to prop.

I never propped (or even tried) the bottle for Landon, but with twins I just might have to try it!

Re: Bottle Helpers
My twins are really gassy and needed to be burped a ton, so propping never worked. But when I did do it, I just used burp cloths.

Re: Bottle Helpers
I didn't even know about propping. But my girls were gassy and had reflux issues so it probably wouldn't have worked. My friend has the first one and she loves it.

Re: Bottle Helpers
they have Podee bottles for multiples, safer for possible choking because they act like a pacifer and you can spit them out. They also work on a straw so good for gas, they are discounted and BPA free at bohemia TOYSRUS. I have stuffed animal bottle holders that I sold, I only have one left-if I can get more I will post it. They are extremely cheap, very soft and not bulky. The only downfall with the podee bottle is you have to have a good suck, a tiny baby or preemie might have a hard time. I did not use these with the twins, I used it for the car with my first two. If they wanted a bottle I knew they were safe with these in the back.
