I wouldn't settle on one kind before the baby arives - we went through 3 different types before finding one our daughter liked the best.

We registered for the Evenflo glass bottles and the First Years Breastflow complete Starter Set...they got good reviews if you plan to breastfeed and bottle feed which is what I plan on.
FYI: My sister used Avent and had no complaints...my nephew never had colick and the bottles never gave her a problem.

Playtex bottles with the drop ins are THE BEST..I highly recommend them..
