Bottles

Does anyone know how many bottles we should have on hand?

I have 3 5oz and 3 9oz Born Free BPA free bottles. Should I buy more or is this sufficient to start with?

Thanks... Chat Icon

Re: Bottles

I would get 3 more 9 oz bottles. You dont want to run out of clean bottles in the middle of the night. The 5oz are great at first but before you know it they are sucking down 6+ oz and those bottles become useless.
AJ was eatting every 3-4 hours when he first came home. I did not bf, he was bottle/formula fed only.

Re: Bottles

I registered for 4 of the smaller Born Free bottles and 4 of the 9oz ones as well as the Playtex Drop-In set in both sizes. Since I will hopefully be BF'ing I shouldn't need them for a little while but when I start pumping it will be good to have a few bottles on hand for some of the feedings.

Re: Bottles

good question! I wasn't sure about that either Chat Icon

I currently have 6 9 oz glass bottles... on my registry is another 6 (but in a different brand, just in case Scone doesn't like one).

I would try getting the Dr. Brown's BPA free too. Those are the only bottles Andrew did well on. And I think they cost less then the Born Free.
