DS will be 2 in August and we're getting him a play kitchen! DH is thrilled. Chat Icon Chat Icon Anyhooo, I've got my eye on this one. It's not *so* girly, KWIM? Which one does your DS have?

TIA!

That's a really nice one! Michael got one last Christmas and he loves it! We got him the Step2 Designer Kitchen (something like that) - it's much smaller, but I figure if I ever have a girl, I'd want her to have the big one - that's weird isn't it? lol!

Just wanted to add - I do not think there is anything wrong with a boy getting a kitchen. It took a lot to convince my DH as well! Chat Icon

This is the one Michael has

I am not a boy mommy, but just had to chime in. As girl mommies we appreciate all that you do to make our future son-in-laws feel comfortable in the kitchen! Chat Icon

I would LOVE to get him this one, but it's almost bigger than *my* kitchen! Chat Icon There's no way we can fit it in their playroom with the 453637466 other toys!

I wanted to get this for my son, hubby gave me a big fat negative on it. Aside from the flowers I think its pretty gender neutral

Andrew got one from Santa Chat Icon He loves it. DH actually picked it out, so I can assure you he felt it was man enough for his boy to have Chat Icon

Here's what Andrew has. It has two sides and a grill that fires up!

This is the one I want my parents to get Jeremy for his 1st Birthday! Yes, he wil be way too young to use it yet but I don't think they will be up for spending that kind on $$ other than his first birthday! I already informed DH that this is what I want them to get. He hasn't said no just yet!
That other one with the grill in the back is great!

I did the same with the roller coaster. Even though Andrew can't play with it yet DH would never let me spend that much money on a toy. My parent's bought if for his 1st Birthday.

I want to get Noah one as this is what he plays with most at nursery, but I just haven't got the room for one! Maybe I will get rid of the glider, we never used that.

Jared plays with Julia's Dora Kitchen. I don't think I'd buy him a kitchen...but that's just me...he has 5,000,000 other toys anyway.Chat Icon

I love Step 2 kitchens. I bought the one MichaelsMommy posted for my 1 goddaughter and just bought this other for my other goddaughter

They are really great and Kevin loves playing in kitchens. I was holding off buying Kev one because if we ever have a girl I want her to have a brand new one - lol. Plus not sure I can fit another monster toy in our house yet. Right now Kev can use his cousins and we just bought him play food and a toy BBQ and he uses his toy chest as his cooktop.

Fun Stuff on Merrick Rd - had them all for the same price as the Step 2 website - no markup like I saw in BRU.

The one you posted is more $$ but looks terrific and not too girly at all!!!

Denise - I think we are getting it from Fun Stuff. That's where we got Sean's playhouse for his 2nd. Their prices are definitely good. Chat Icon

Trish- I really like the one you guys (well, Santa) got for Andrew, but I think it may be too small for my bruts! Lord knows it's not going to just be K's kitchen, it'll be Sean's, too! Chat Icon

I was thinking about a kitchen also, but not sure where I would put it. We still have so many other toys that they still play with. I love the one with the grill, but if we got one we would need to put it against the wall, not in the middle of the den.
