Boys First Birthday Theme
DS Birthday is in 3 weeks and we have yet to come up with a theme. We were going to do Noah's ark but we aren't happy with the paper goods because the don't say first birthday on them. DH said no way to a winter onederland theme. I need lots of ideas because I am overwhelmed. Can you help by posting themes and ideas of creative was to decorate??
Thank you so much for your help!!!

TRAINS...trains are fun.
you can probably find lots of thomas the tank engine stuff.
The Cars movie is popular too.
myDS' nursery is airplanes and helicopters which might also be cute, but stuff may be hard to find for that.

Re: Boys First Birthday Theme
I said I had a theme for my DD's b-day "Winter Princesses" (she shared the b-day w/my older sister.) but besides the cakes and colors, there wasn't really anything "princessy" about it. Nobody noticed.
Anyway...yo gabba gabba is really fun and popular now and so is thomas the train. you can probably get a train cake made and thomas the train party hats and blow-outs etc.

I'm doing the same, with special attention to cookie monster since he is his favorite.
