BPA Free ?
My SIL uses Avent bottles and says it doesn't matter that they're not BPA Free b/c she doesn't microwave them. Now I don't microwave my bottles either but I didn't think that was the only thing that made their chemistry change. Does dishwashing and sterilizing them do something?

Re: BPA Free ?
You are right. The heat is what changes the chemical composition. So the heat from the dishwasher and from sterlizing them will affect the bottles.

i agree that the heat from the dishwasher would be enough to effect it.
