I like the throw away ones- I forget who makes them. That way I can just toss them before they get scruffy.

Ds uses the born free ones. He loves them and has no problems at all. Unlike the above poster his sippy cup doesn't leak.

I havent found any that are leak proof. Does yours have a leakproof valve?

Re: What BPA free sippy cup do you use?

we mostly use tupperware sippy cups. they aren't good when the babies are smaller since they do leak when they are on their sides but now that she is older they work well for us, and i just read online that they are BPA free.

I use Born Free also, and I haven't found that they leak.

Same here, that's what we use. They get scruffy very quickly. Lily must really chew on them. Chat Icon Now that makes me nervous.

There are two different Born Free cups. There is a transitional cup (Trainer cup) which is a lot like a bottle and this does not leak. It has a soft spout. 6-12 months

Once they master that cup, and know to keep a cup upright, then there is a second stage cup (Drinking cup). That cup has less of a valve. If they don't keep it upright it will leak. This has a hard spout. 12 months plus

I read a lot of reviews on-line and many people bought the Drinking cup first because their DC was 12 months plus. Problem was it was their DC's first experience with a sippy and if not held upright the cup will leak. Even though they were 12 months plus, they should have started with the transitional cup.

HTH.

We have the Born Free trainer cup (it came free with our bottles) but I haven't used it yet. Great design though.

Thank you. It does help.

I use the trainer. (I've been giving it to him since 5 months actually.) I haven't tried the actual drinking cup yet.
