Braxton Hicks?
I am 24 weeks today so it might be too soon but since last night I've been getting a tightening and then rock hard belly on and off, it was happening again today and now I have this stitch in my side (both sides) I thought maybe Braxton Hicks or Gas lol. I called the doctor well over 2 hours ago and haven't heard back from anyone. I am not overly concerned but it def. is not comfortable. Did anyone experience this? Is it too early? Should I call back?! I've also been drinking a ton of water.

Re: Braxton Hicks?
I'd call the dr. back. It was around then my contractions started. With a multiple pregnancy there is always the chance for preterm contractions.

Re: Braxton Hicks?
I had braxton hicks early with both of my pregnancies. (like 18 weeks it started!) the dr. told me when it becomes more than 6 per hour to call. HTH!

Re: Braxton Hicks?
I started having contractions at 14 weeks!!! I was told the same thing as julz...if it was more than 6 an hour call the doc. I was also told if they were painful to call as well. Braxton hicks aren't supposed to hurt just feel a tightening but no pain. I would call the doc again anyways...just to be safe since it's the first time u r feeling like this.
