Braxton Hicks in 3rd tri
Anyone else getting them CONSTANTLY?
I am drinking a ton of water, because I thought I might be getting them more frequently from dehydration or something...but despite the water I am still getting them all day long.
They started consistently about three days ago. (I have had them much less frequently since the beginning of my second trimester)
I want to say they range anywhere from 5 min to 20 min in between each one and they last for at least 2 min to 5min each.
They arent painful. Just annoying and can be uncomfortable if I am walking.
Anyone else having this issue?

I had them with Ava ALL.THE.TIME.
Just call the doc and let them know b/c they'll probably have you come in and hook you up to the monitor for a bit.

What do they feel like? How do you know its braxton hicks? I have read what they should feel like...just wondering how someone who gets them would describe them! Im not sure if I have been getting them or not.

They feel like an extreme tightening of the belly. And when you touch your stomach its rock hard.
Doesn't hurt. Just uncomfortable at times.

Ahhhhh! That totally happened to me yesterday! I am fighting a UTI, so I thought it was UTI related. It was rock hard for about a minute and then it went away.

I think rule of thumb is if more than 4 in an hour then you're supposed to call the OB because they may actually be real contractions or something else going on instead. But I agree - they are super annoying!!

I've had them for the past week and the ones I'm getting hurt. I spoke with the doctor and he said more than 5 in an hour and he wants to see me. I have an app't next week..I can't wait. Yesterday they were painful, I was so uncomfortable. I never had this with DD.

When I get them, they seem to come from either side of my stomach and meet in the middle and get rock hard. It sounds weird but its like waves coming in and joining. They dont hurt yet so that's good. They stopped for a bit but now are back but I know that is normal.
