Breastfeeding Moms

I'm just curious, but did you have to switch to a scent-free deodorant due to breastfeeding? The book I have said babies are so sensitive that sometimes the smell of deodorant bothers them.

Re: Breastfeeding Moms

If I remember to put it on it doesn't bother me (sometimes I think I put it on already if my routine is different). But I don't really wear perfume anymore. Unless I am going somewhere.

Re: Breastfeeding Moms

No...I never even thought about that. It wasn't a problem though.

my deodorant doesn't seem to bother jonah at all. i stopped wearing perfume for the most part because i was worried that his skin might get irritated, but i've done it once in a while and it doesn't seem to bother him either.

Re: Breastfeeding Moms

I never switched and never had any problems- but I could see how any strong smelling lotions, perfumes or deodorant could be an issue.
