Bridal Shower Games?
Can anyone give me some cute ideas for clean bridal shower games? I'm throwing a bridal shower for my best friend, and I need some ideas. I already have bridal shower bingo. It's a backyard barbecue shower theme if that helps. Thanks!

Re: Bridal Shower Games?
One that my mom did that everyone loved was a baby picture game:
-3 photos of me (random ages) -Each photo was framed with a small basket in front and a notepad next to it -Guests wrote what age they thought I was in each picture and their name on the paper and put it in the basket -She picked from each basket until the right age came up and that person won a small gift

Re: Bridal Shower Games?
My friends asked DH questions about himself. If I didn't get them right then I had to chew a piece of bubbleicous gum. I didn't get any of them right and the pics of me chewing all the gum are hysterical. I think DH was told to make some answers that I would never guess so it would be funnier.

Re: Bridal Shower Games?
I love the egg timer one - that gets guests a little more interested.
I have also done the guess how old in the baby picture (although I included adult pictures too).
You can always do a word scramble with wedding words
or ask guests to take a few M&Ms w/o telling them what it is for - then for every M&M they take they have to tell their table something about the bride.

Re: Bridal Shower Games?
The Wedding is over. Tell the guests and bride to pretend the wedding is over and it is the wedding night. The motel/cruise boat/etc. that the couple is staying in loses all electricity and the bride must prepare for her wedding night in complete darkness. Next blindfold the bride and hand her a suitcase. SHe must put on everything in the suitcase. Put items in it such as sunglasses, men's underwear, big bra, work gloves, or anything else that may bring a laugh. (She puts all this on over her clothes!)
Another is kind of like 20 questions. You ask the groom beforehand a bunch of questions about his favorite things(food, activity, etc) and quiz the bride to see how well she knows him. If you wanted to get the whole shower into it, you could have them answer questions about the bride and groom. Whoever gets the most questions correct, gets a prize....
"THE WISHING GAME"
Give each guest a pencil and piece of paper. Each player writes her name at the top of the paper, folds over the name, and passes the paper to the person on her right. Now each guest writes the name of any object, folds the paper and passes it on. Next isd written the name of some place or location, then on the last round, the name of an action (such as catching a fish, flying a kite) or anything that comes to mind. The papers are then collected and one is given to each guest to read aloud, inserting the following words. It might some out something like this: "Donna Englander (WISHES SHE HAD) a sewing machine (TO TAKE TO) the moon (FOR) washing the dishes."

Re: Bridal Shower Games?
Each person is given a clothespin when they walk in. They are instructed not to say the grooms name. If they say the grooms name, they lose there clothes pin.
The person who keeps their clothespin the longest wins a prize!
This gets funny because people try to make others say the grooms name, and they can then take their clothespin!

Re: Bridal Shower Games?
They did a 20 questions kinda thing at my shower but they asked it of the guests (how well do you know the soon to be married couple). Guests got a prize for getting things right. It was fun watching peoples faces to the answer of "what month did they get engaged" and my MIL answered June. It was actually October

My sister did something similar to this at my shower. She had these plastic wedding type rings she gave everyone when they came in. She had a list of "banned" wedding words, and if you got caught saying one of those words, you had to give up your ring. Person who had the most rings at the end of the shower got a prize.

Re: Bridal Shower Games?
I did the famous couples game at my firiend's shower. You name one half of the couple and the guests have to name the other half. Whoever gets the most correct wins a prize. For example:
Brad Pitt
The correct answer would be Angelina Jolie.
