Re: Bridesmaid's dress- 9 months preg (UPDATE)

Sounds a lot like me. I tried on with the fake belly at 16 weeks bc I wasn't showing much and already knew the style of the dress would never work, the waist would have to be hiked up to an empire waist and it made the dress super short and tight. I ended up ordering a huge size and we only needed to take in the boob area and then shorten it to knee length (i was worried about length and it was easier to hem a floor length gown). I was much much bigger at 37 weeks than I was with the fake belly! Sounds like a good plan. David's bridal is the best place to be a very pregnant bm I tjink

Yeah they seem to be very accommodating. They said I can see a seamstress when I order in October so that I can order the right size. Even the girls who tried on the dress were size 4 in other dresses but had to get the 6 in this one because of the tight/straight part under the chiffon. If its tight the side bunches up. Oh well it is what it is.
