Bring on ideas to induce labor
I'm 39 weeks and nothing....no dilation barely any contractions and no sign of this baby coming out anytime soon.
I am soooo swollen and want him here so bad. So far I:
made the eggplant recipe
tried pressure points
got a pedicure
walk around a lot
What else is there? HELP!!!!

The night before I went into labor I BD'd and did laundry at my inlaws ( their W/D is in the basement ,so I had to go up and down the stairs a billion times )

Ha ha, I have been doing laundry all day. Maybe it will work.
I keep begging my husband to do the deed but he is to scared. lol. The last time we tried it was a disaster. I am going to have to force him tonight :)

definitely try sex, nipple stimulation (i pumped my boobs a minute each side, probably should've done longer), eggplant parm (or just garlicy foods), spicy/salty foods, lots of walking, driving over speed bumps, drink raspberry tea. i feel like i'm forgetting some other stuff that i've been trying. sex is supposedd to be the best though because of something thats in sperm, once it hits the cervix it ripens. i'm attacking DH tonight. after last nights contractions, i'm desperate for anything (well not castro oil) to get him out!!

I am 40 weeks plus right now....I was three days late with my dd too...and trust me, for me, nothing works...not even doing the deed  (can't believe I just wrote it...) dh the poor guy has been up for it, but nada.....

I did the following, walking up and down stairs, accupuncture ( it was free) yard work and sex.
It worked but it's probably b/c the baby was ready to come.

(TTC hijacker) with DS I did squats, it was 10 dyas before due date and the end of july. that night my water broke.

How many did you do?

the days leading to my going into labor i went to the mall and walked everyday as well as walked in the neighborhood... i am talking hours.... then i also went to chilis and had lots of spicy food... knocked me right into labor

We went 2 weeks over and all I did was try to keep busy, walking, cleaning. Was told to eat Pineapple too

I was almost 42w when I did the controversial castor oil (with my midwife's approval).
Nothing else was working, and I wanted a drug-free delivery and that's what I got!
