Re: Bringing DC to a Jewish Funeral...
My grandfather passed away when DD was 2 months old. I brought her with me to the Jewish funeral. Although she was still little and she slept the whole time, I didn't see a problem with it. My grandmother actually told me to bring her.

Re: Bringing DC to a Jewish Funeral...
My FIL said of course I will bring her because I have no choice...but he mentioned that when DH was little and FIL's other sister passed away - they didn't bring DH. DD is almost a year old - but she will likely be sleeping by the time we get there - it's about 2 hours away from our house.

Re: Bringing DC to a Jewish Funeral...
I brought my DDs to a Jewish Funeral because I had nobody to watch them. Since it was for someone on DH's side of the family, I made sure to keep DD entertained, and took her back to the car during the funeral. There's more of a superstition about a pregnant woman being at a funeral.
