Bringing home a newborn
Tomorrow we bring home our brand new baby girl and all of a sudden I'm feeling anxious. I feel like a newbie. I know HOW to take care of her, but what do you do???? She seems to have a little awake time after feedings right now do you put them down to sleep after that? When/how do you put them down for "the night"? At this early stage is there a difference between what you do during the day/night? Help!! I need info and calming please.
Wow, I guess I should know this....DS is 3 1/2 and I feel like I don't remember what to do......

Re: Bringing home an infant
First off congrats on bringing your little baby girl home! I usaully let DS eat , then let him hang out for a little, then it is swaddle time. I know I am bad but if he doesn't fall asleep on his own I will rock him and then put him in his bassinet.
