Re: Britax Marathon/Roundabout....
The Roundabout holds to 40 lbs The Marathon holds to 65 lbs.
I don't think one is better over the other. I have the Marathon and I love it!

I'd go Marathon...this way you don't need to replace it so quickly when the boys outgrow the Roundabout.

Re: Britax Marathon/Roundabout....
We have the Roundabout and I love it, very easy to use. We didn't get the Marathon b/c we figured that even though the Roundabout only go up to 40 lbs, by the time DS is that much we will be putting another child in it and getting DS a new seat

Re: Britax Marathon/Roundabout....
The manager at BRU suggested the Marathon over the Roundabout. I don't remember all of his reasons why right now though sorry!

Re: Britax Marathon/Roundabout....
I have heard this reasoning for the Roundabout over the Marathon: the Roundabout holds up to 40 pounds. How old is an average child when they reach 40 pounds? I don't remember the age, but it was old enough that the child may be embarassed/annoyed about sitting in a seat that looks like a baby carseat, instead of the more grown-up booster seats. This reason, in addition to the size of the seats, is the reason we registered for the Roundabout.
But again, it is smarter $ wise to get the Marathon and your child should use the seat you get them regardless, you know?
