Britax Marathon Users - Questions and Complaints
So I took the advice of everyone on the planet and bought this last week.
What we can't understand is, is it supposed to be so "upright" and not be able to recline at all? Is this a safety feature? Are ALL the bigger convertible seats like this? Because my child's head keeps falling forward and that doesn't seem to be a good thing.
Also - why don't the straps "click" in? The top by the chest clicks, but the bottom part doesn't and I never know when it's actually secure. Is this the way it is, or is mine defective?

There is a handle at the bottom on the underneath that will make the seat recline. It only reclines to about 45-degrees, so its not much. I only used the recline in the rear facing position.
As far as the seat belt straps clicking, it will only "click" once the second one is in and they are both done. THis way you know its right. When you do the first one, it won't click.

Thank you! My husband did the recline thing and it barely makes a difference. But the thing about the click is a relief!

I've been using Marathons for over 4 years but I remember the click thing being questionable to me in the beginning too but it's definitely better than a double click. Like Trish said, you know it's right and both are in properly when it clicks.
