Re: Broadway show HELP
I don't know, but Playbill.com has a short synopsis for nearly all the current B'way plays. You should be able to find the info there.

Re: Broadway show HELP
Is it "Slava's Snowshow"?
Created by Slava -- considered by many to be the world's greatest clown -- Slava's Snowshow is a magical theatrical experience that melds the unbridled hilarity -- and the unexpected poignancy -- of the art of clowning with stunning spectacle and awe-inspiring visual images and fantasy, culminating in a blinding, heart-stopping snowstorm that engulfs the entire audience.
This is the only one man show playing that I know of and it does advertise on TV.
PS: In My Life is probably the worst thing I have ever seen. It was hilarious, but in a "laughing at" not "laughing with" way. JMHO.

Re: Broadway show HELP
The Light in the Piazza is playing at Lincoln Center. Maybe that's it? Oh wait, just read your other post...this isn't a one man show. Sorry! :)

There is a one man star wars trilogy being performed right now, but somehow I doubt that's what you're looking for!

Re: Broadway show HELP
There's also
Thom Pain (based on nothing), which I have seen advertised on TV:
An ordinary man, Thom Pain, muses on childhood, yearning, disappointment and loss, cataloguing the eternal agonies of the human condition as he draws his audience into his last-ditch plea for empathy and enlightenment.

I think it might be! Wish I would see the stupid commercial already so I knew!
THanks all!
