Brookstone LED window candles........
If you have these, do they turn on & off automatically? These are the ones I ordered but the directions seem to say twist to turn on. I don't SEE any type of sensor either:

Re: Brookstone LED window candles........
maybe i am not understanding your question but the description of these candles read, "Cordless LED Candle, automatically turns on at dusk and off at dawn." meaning the candles are battery operated and will turn on when it is dark and off when it is light (photosensor). i don't see anywhere where it indicates that you need to twist to turn on.

That's how I understood it too.

Re: Brookstone LED window candles........
I don't have their candles but I had the LED wreath that has the same kind of idea...Cordless..turns on and off by itself....Really works and the lights are pretty bright.
It stays on for like 6 hours...not sure if the candles do the same thing.
ETA...with the wreath I turned it on once and then it does it by itself from then on

Re: Brookstone LED window candles........
We have very similar ones. We had to twist the bottoms of the candles the first time and now they come on right around 5 every night. for some reason 2 out of the 5 come on a couple of minutes after the other ones. They stay on until about 11.

Re: Brookstone LED window candles........
you do have to twist it on.
and that is when the photo sensor kicks in.
if you don't want the photo sensor to work, you twist it off.
there is no discernible sensor area, if you are looking for one.
but I have them and they are working fine.
