BRU or BBB for baby furniture?

I'm trying to decide if we should go to BRU or BBB for the baby furniture. On the BBB site it doesn't look like they have as big of a selection of cribs as BRU. Does BBB have a better selection in the store?

If you bought your crib/furniture from either one what was your experience? Thanks!

Ordered the crib from BBB. I looked there first and found something I really liked.

I went to BRU and I didn't like anything any better than what I had chosen already.


I was pleasantly surprised that the woman who took the order at BBB wasn't trying to get me to buy any other pieces of furniture.

I ordered from BBB.. I feel like they have a lot more in the store than they show online. The whole upstairs is furniture. I think I have pics of mine in my album. They were TERRIFIC to work with.

We got our furniture from BRU. Unfortunately since we live in CT there is no BBB nearby. With that said, is it possible for you to check out both places? I believe they carry a lot of different brands and styles.

In my experience, the person who took our order at BRU was very knowledgeable and wasn't pushy at all. The hardest part was waiting your turn to talk to him since everyone was waiting in line to ask questions/place orders. I didn't mind waiting bc I wanted to get all of the details since we had to special order the night stand and conversion kit from Babi Italia for our set.

Obv. all BRU's are different so I would try to stop in on a week day/night and take a look at what they have to offer.

ETA: The prices in BRU store were cheaper than online plus we were able to use 15% off coupons and a coupon for $150 off furniture.

Thanks Jen, that's good to know that they have a larger selection in the store.

I guess we could go to both to compare, but the BBB around here (i'm in FL) is about an hour away from me. I wanted to make sure it would be worth it to go there and check it out.

we went to several BRUs and 2 BBBs and found more of a selection (quality, price, and style) at BBB.

I registered for my furniture at BBB. I know that you are in Florida but the store in Huntignton has a huge in-store furniture selection...the whole second floor!

They have $50 coupons sometimes & I believe that they accept competitor coupons.

We opted for BBB for furniture...we went to both stores and felt the quality was much better at BBB as opposed to BRU.

We didn't order from either but we did look there. BBB seemed to have a wider selection & actually did carry the set we ended up ordering. We just got a better deal elsewhere.

BBB has much more in the stores than they do online (that goes for all of their products). we ended up getting our furniture from BRU after looking at both places simply because we found a set there that was really high quality for a REALLY LOW price. plus BRU gave us a bunch of coupons and discounts. (i'm a big BBB fan too)

I ordered from BBB they had the set I had my heart set on and they had the 50$ you were able to use.

i worked at BRU in the furniture department and honestly, the only brands to go for there is either Baby Cache or Babi Italia. they're really great brands and are so much chepaer than the sh*tty companies at BBB. BBB has some really great brands too though but overpriced. it really depends on what you can afford. but those 2 brands at BRU are awesome!

We ordered our set from BRU. It's Baby Cache and the quality is EXCELLENT!

I never visited BBB since there isnt one near me here in NC, so I cant really compare. But I can say that we had a great experience at BRU and the furniture came within several weeks.

I didn't order our furniture from either, but when I was looking I much preferred the selection at BBB. Good luck Jess!

Didn't read all replies so not sure if you got similar suggestion...

I looked at both BBB and BRU and found that in person, BBB (went to two locations) had a much larger display to see and touch! Not sure how your stores in FL are though.

Something to keep in mind.... I ended up ordering from Behr's in Seaford. The brand we chose was Young America by Stanley Furniture. BBB also carries that however Behr's pricing, sale and service were much better than BBB. Maybe when you're up for your shower, you can check them out to see if they carry the same set you chose and if they ship to FL (if shipping costs do not wash out the deal you get). Although I think you mentioned not coming until 29 weeks, so maybe some phone calls would work better!
