BTDT: 1st B-day for 2nd DC?
I feel like DS (DC #2) is getting the short end of the stick on so many levels  It's almost his 1st b-day and we have no plans! For DD we had a big bash w/ lots of guests. This time, I hate to say it, but I have no desire to do a big party. I feel bad.
Did you celebrate DC #2's 1st birthday the same way as DC # 1?

No but I plan to. His in November which stinks because I'll have to find an indoor venue to have it where we had DD's in the back yard but I want to do my best to do the same for both of them.

dc#1 always gets the best of everything! By the time #2 came around I was so wiped out! Thankfully they have no idea! Even if you called some family to come over and have a nice cake and presents it will still be just as GREAT!!!

I think this is the plan. Something small with family, cake and presents.
Thank goodness he won't remember!

Julia was born in July so for her 1st we had it in my parents (huge) back yard with about 65 people, we had a petting zoo come and also pony rides, it was a big party!
Todd Jr will be one May 5th, so we are having his party at a mexican restaurant with about 65 people, and I'm getting entertainment to come to for the older kids that will be there! I wanted to make sure I did the same for both!

I actually had a bigger birthday party for #2 because her birthday is in July but, she had a smaller christening. DS had a bigger christening and small birthday.

We didn't have any kinf of religious party for DS and won't for any future children, so we will do a big 1st bday bash.

We did a huge bash for DS and I already know from now I wont be doing the same for DC
We are planning a vacation next year to Beaches Turks & caicos and that will be for his/her 1st bday, DS's 3rd bday and our 5 year anniversary
