BTDT Kofinas patients with c-sections
So I heard that Kofinas doesn't switch patients from Lovenox to Heparin at the end of pregnancy. For those who had a c/s, when did Kofinas stop the lovenox? They won't give an epidural or spinal if you are on Lovenox. Thanks!

Dr. Kofinas didn't stop my lovenox. My reg ob/ gyn stopped it. I had to call him if I was having any discomfort. At my 34 week check up I was having contractions that was on a Thurs. The following Tues. I felt more discomfort so my Dr stopped my lovenox and I had my boys that Friday.

Dr. K did not stopped the lovenox. I had to schedule my csection so I had be off for about a week as per my OB/GYN.

I believe if I recall correctly. YOu have be off any medication (lovenox) for 5 days.
