Anyone have to have their baby early because of low fluid?
If so do you remember what your level was?

Thanks!

Btdt low fluid during pregnancy

At 36 weeks, my fluid level was under 5, which the doctor said was really low. He was going to make me have a csection the next morning, but he sent me home to rest and drink tons of fluids. By the next morning my level went up enough that he sent me home. I had to stay on bed rest and keep drinking lots of water. And I had to go back to get my fluid levels checked every three days until I finally gave birth. My fluid level never did go up much higher, but it stayed just high enough that the doctor felt comfortable letting me wait. By 39 weeks though it was really low again so we just scheduled a csection (only because DD was breach, otherwise they would have induced me)

My fluid was low with my first dd. I also had a shortening cervix. I was on bedrest until 37 weeks and went into labor at 37w4d. I had to drink lots of water and go every other day to have my levels checked. If they dropped further I would have been induced.

At 32 weeks my fluid level was under 6. They told me to drink tons of water and to head to the hostpial for the 2 day steriod shot for baby's lungs. At 36 weeks, my level was below 5. They told me I had one day to get my number up. The next day it was close to 4 and they sent me to the hospital to deliver. DS was born 24 hours later at 5'7oz and perfectly healthyChat Icon Chat Icon

I had low fluids from 30 weeks on. Around 34 weeks it was really low. Put on modified bed rest and had to go measure fluids every few days. At 37 weeks it was under 7 and at my next appointment it was under 5 and they sent me straight in for a c-section (she was breech). Although they didn't let me go home I ended up waiting in delivery for 8 hours until we did the section. Delivered at 37.3 weeks.

Ps- I drank TONS and TONS of water and rested a lot and i don't know how much it helped. BUT they also told me to lay on my left side and try and sleep on my left if i could

I had low fluid at 38 weeks and dr had me go csection 2days later. Also found out the cord was wrapped around his neck. So glad I had him when I did.

I was over due at 40w3d when I found out I had low fluid, it was like 3.3 or some crazy low number. I was sent right to the hospital, since obviously I wasn't early.

at 32w4d mine was borderline low, around a 6. i delivered 5 days later but due to HELLP and pre-e. the low fluid wasn't much of a concern at that point - they didn't even check it again before i delivered.
