BTDT mommies...I have a question for those with more than 1 child.
When it was time for baby #2 to come, did your dh become distant/stressed/cold towards you?
I feel alone lately...I'm stressed about going from 1 to 2. I just feel like I'm doing everything by myself lately. My dh tells me that things will change when the baby comes but I'm stressed.
Tell me that every guy goes through this "phase"...

No, I didn't notice a change in my DH. But you know what, I can see why you would feel that way anyhow. Maybe it's you that's changed recently and that's affected him? I don't think men know quite how to respond.
What I mean by that is that it's YOU--as a woman and a SAHM--whose life is going to change most dramatically. First, you're probably scared about the c-section. I was petrified. No one else had to go through that but me. The DHs can't really understand or put themselves in that position. Also, after the baby is born, it's YOU that's going to be the primary caregiver. It's a lot to think about between getting DS to school, feeding the baby, dealing with two, period. I came home from the hospital on a Friday evening with DD#2 and DH was back at work on Monday! It's nuts and your head is probably totally spinning!!
I know once the baby is born and you all get yourselves adjusted as a family, you'll be back to the same old you and the same old him!

Yes! I felt like DH was totally not helpful during my last tri. He spoiled me when I was preggo with #1, but I felt left in the dark with #2. He would spend more time out of the house (softball, work, etc.) than I could handle. Things are just starting to turn around now that I am back to work. Hopefully it is just a "phase"

Well, DH wasn't as "attentive" to me as he was with child #1.
He spoiled me after I had Nicholas.
After I had Joey, I think his mentality was "Eh...she's BTDT. She can handle it."
They come around though. And if they don't, kick 'em in the shins!

Re: BTDT mommies...I have a question for those with more than 1 child.
My husband was a little different but, I think he was probably reacting to my stress which was at an all time high. A second child (and I imagine any successive children) is just different.
I was induced with my second and I remember being in bed with a drip and a nurse coming in to ask if I needed additional pillows or blankets and my husband actually asking for one. I almost killed him. But, I digress.... It did get back to normal as soon as I brought my daughter home.
Good luck!!!!
