BTDT moms Clogged milk duct help
Please help me with clearing it, I tried a hot shower and heating pad, I have been putting her on the side to feed. Its not too painful but I can feel the clog and its uncomfortable.

Absolutely. I'm not going to lie to you and say it doesn't hurt - it's painful to work it out. But, you will feel relief immediately once it's cleared.

FYI once you massage it out, don't be surprised if your boob is bruised or feels bruised.

This happened to me.
massage it out while you are nursing or pumping too. Mine turned into mastitis. If you just to feel like you have the flu, call the doc.

ETA: I also alternated with soaking it in cold water - I had read about doing that here, it seemed to help.
