BTDT Moms- Birthday Party for a 3 year old question

So we decided this year, Grace could have a friend party for her birthday. I looked into one place that she had a really great time at someone else's birthday and its $325 for 10 kids. Its a really good party IF she had 10 friends. She really only has 2 good friends and a bunch of friends from school that I don't know. Or I could invite my friends kids- who are different ages and not really friends with her.

OR do we just do a Chuckie Cheese party this year(very "cheesie" I know) since we can invite a minimum of 4 people and do this a lot cheaper? And save the cool party for next year when she is 4?

For DS's birthday party I am inviting all of his cousins, my friends kids (since we GTG for playdates) and the 4 kids in his nursery school class. Comes to about 19.

we took ds to chuck e cheese for the first time on his 3rd b-day. it was not a party and we did not eat there. he had a blast!!!!

I did DD's 3rd party at the house with a craft, pizza and dress up for her friends. This year I am doing it out at a place. I think Chuck E Cheese is fine Kids love cheesy

for dd's 3rd birthday in sept we kept it simple...she has one bff from school...and lots of other firends from our friends' kids so it was getting out of control with figuring otu what would work agewise, etc (plus add in my newborn who was born in june!)...we took dd and her bff (and her mom who I became friends with through dd !) to friendly's and then we all went to build a bear and we bought them their choice of animal and clothes...they loved it! all in all, it was a little over a hundred dollars and we all had a ncie night together!
