BTDT Moms Glucose Test Question

If you passed the 1 hour, or failed the 1 hour but passed the 3 hour for your first pregnancy (so did not have GD), did you also not have GD for consequent pregnancies?

I was given the great news yesterday that I passed the 1-hour, so I'm hoping this means that this will be one issue I'll never have to worry about with any future pregnancies as well.

I guess I'm not technically the population you're looking for an answer from, BUT I can tell you when I took my GD classes, I remember that some women had had GD in previous pregnancies, and another had definitely not.

Probably not the answer you were looking for! I don't think there's a definitive answer either way.

there is no guaranteee either way - my mom had gestational with her 1st pregnancy but not her other 2 pregnancies

my mom ( a nurse) for one class did perform a study reviewing patients files that there is a greater chance of gestational diabetes during the hotter months
