BTDT moms of early standers, cruisers and crawlers...

My little wonder of a son is just doing things way too quickly, and I feel as though time is flying before my eyesChat Icon .

Anyhow, trying to figure how timeframes on when babies stand up alone, and cruise, and then crawl and things like that. I am looking at various outdoor toys (Little Tikes) and other toys that he can stand or sit and play with, and am trying to plan accordingly. I won't get certain items if he is going to take off crawling next month...kwim? What is the youngest age they can start to do these things??

Also, if you have any suggestions on how to stunt growth, and keep them this age longer, let me knowChat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

DS was fully walking unassisted at 8.5-9months. He cruised for like a minute and hasn't stopped since.

I think they all do things on different schedules and you really can't say one way or an another.

DD#1 Crawling 6.5 months, cruising 7 months, walking 10.5 months.

DD#2 just turned 1 on the 23rd. She was crawling at 6 months, cruising at 6.5 months, walking - well not really yet. She has been taking 2-4 independent steps for the past 3-4 weeks, down in disney everyone was saying she is walking so well (and I was like but she doesn't walk yet - she will practically run holding one finger but she is pretty cautious- if you distract her she will take 6-10 steps independently - if not she will only walk holding one finger).

Liam starting crawling at 7 months, cruising at 7.5 months and walked at 9.5 months. We had a couple of little tykes things like the tunnel & the car that even though he wasn't walking yet, he played with.

Kaydyn pulled herself up at 5 months, crawled at 6 months, and then cruised less than 2 weeks later.

She did full on walk until the day before her 1st birthday though. She was perfectly happy cruising for almost 6 months.
