BTDT Mom's on 12-14 weeks....
DH and I had planned a vacation in the middle of October just as I would be in my 13th week going into my 14th.
On average, does exhaustion level off and/or an appetite return?
We just don't know if we should do the 10-hour drive to NC and do what we planned or shelve it and plan a more local trip in the same time frame.
Any advice is appreciated!

I am 12 weeks pregnant with #2. I found that my exhaustion got much better at 12 weeks. Hopefully, you wiill feel the same. My appetite is not great but not terrible either.

My m/s didn't go away until 14 weeks but my energy levels were actually pretty good after about 11 w. I think everyone is different.
Where in NC are you going? I live outside Raleigh. I haven't done the drive back to NY since last October but I do miss it up there. I flew up in March. Sometimes I break the drive up by staying with friends in DC overnight which is a huge help. 5 hours is such a more reasonable drive than 10!

I noticed my energy levels coming back around that time. We did a FL trip when I was around 20 weeks, and we drove down. I was fine. Just make sure to get out at stretch.

My M/S ended at exactly 12 weeks and my energy came back around that time, too. I would go!! Just make sure that you get out often and stretch your legs!
