BTDT Moms: Were your pregnancies the same or different?
Just wondering how your pregnancies compared to each other. If they were different, how early on did you notice the differences? How were they different?
I'm only 5.5 weeks, but by this point with #1, I was either very nauseous in the afternoon and evening or already throwing up every morning. I'm sure I'm junxing myself, but so far, I have only had a few slight waves of nausea in the morning, usually when I wait a while to eat, and the slight nausea doesn't last very long. I also had food aversions by the point and so far, I have a normal appetite. I really hope this continues.
If you had a different pregnancy, did you have the same sex or one of each?

Re: BTDT Moms: Were your pregnancies the same of different?
My first and second pregnancy were very similar (except my second pregnancy was worse, much more sick) I pretty much knew from the beginning that I was having another boy.
This pregnancy so far is very different. I am not half as sick as I was. I am 9 weeks so we have a long ways to go until I find out the sex.

The same. So far both pregnancies have been very easy.
The only difference i'd say is with this one i'm a tad emotional (and i'm not at all an emotional person).
#1 i had a
This one is still so we'll find out in feb when he/she comes.

Re: BTDT Moms: Were your pregnancies the same of different?
My MS got progressively worse with each pregnancy. And I had little differences. Like charlie horses and bad skin with DC1. Insomnia with DC2. Exhaustion with DC2 and DC3. Moderately bad skin with DC3.
I had , , and now again.

With my DS the MS kicked my a$$. I couldnt move, counldnt even watch TV and was actually throwing up and heartburn didnt come til much later on. With this one, dont know what we are having yet, I had major waves of MS but, never threw up, bad taste in mouth that drives me crazy, peeing alot more early on, heartburn started very early and Im not eating as much as I did with DS.

Re: BTDT Moms: Were your pregnancies the same or different?
With DS I was nauseous from the minute I found out... and it became SO much worse everyday until week 14.
This time we are having and I was "OK" until 7 weeks. Then at 7 weeks migraines, nausea, heartburn, everything. It's slowing down at this point and I'm only 11 weeks.
I tried not to compare, but it's hard to do, but before you know it, your MS will kick in and you're going to be kicking yourself in the butt for even asking this question...

Re: BTDT Moms: Were your pregnancies the same or different?
Mine have definitely been different. Both really easy though. My first, I had maybe 2-3 weeks of on and off morning sickness starting around 8 or 9 weeks. But it was mild, I never threw up. Also, in most of the first trimester, I had really sore boobs. This pregnancy, before I even got my BFP, I had INSANE nausea for like a week. I never threw up this time either, but there were times the nausea was so bad it was like crippling- I had to close my eyes and put my head down. But after those few really rough days were over, I had REALLY mild MS (even more mild than my first) for like a week or 2 here and there and then it was gone. I never had sore boobs at all with this pregnancy. Also, last time, I leaked colostrum every night while sleeping for pretty much the entire 3rd trimester. I haven't had any leakage this time around and I'm 39.5 weeks. I've carried much lower this whole pregnancy (which I know is common with 2nd pregnancies), and I've gained about 12 or 13 more pounds with this pregnancy. But with both, I've carried all belly. My skin has changed a lot this pregnancy- I've had a lot of redness on my face, my scars have been much more visible, etc. Last time I didn't notice any change in my skin.
We are Team so I can't answer your question about gender yet, but I can get back to you in a few days! I had a the first time.

Re: BTDT Moms: Were your pregnancies the same or different?
My pregnancy's have been pretty different. I had M/S with both, but this pregnancy was so much worse. I lost 7lbs in first trimester.
I had no complications with first pregnancy, but this one has been one problem after another. (Early bleeding caused by low progesterone, Possible GD, Placenta Previa)
I also had alot of leg cramps early on with DS and not this pregnancy. I also had totally different cravings.
I'm carrying pretty much the same.
It's another boy

My pregnancy's were very different, with my DD I was VERY sick for 3-4 mths not leaving the bathroom, with my DS I was like till my 8th week but never threw up. This baby is a and I was just as sick as I was with my 1st DD, I knew it was a girl right away!

Re: BTDT Moms: Were your pregnancies the same or different?
Very different. With DD I was sick as a dog from 7wks until 16. I could not look at certain foods, and was in bed every night by 7. This time around I do not even feel pregnant. I had one or two days where I had m/s, but other than that it's been great. We find out in two weeks what we are having. I have a feeling I'm having another girl though.

Re: BTDT Moms: Were your pregnancies the same or different?
I could probably write you a novel on how different my two pregnancies have been.
With my DD I was nauseus constantly and was getting sick several times a day through 26 weeks. I also lost 12 lbs in the 1st trimester because of the severe MS, and only gained 8, so went in to delivery down 4 lbs from my pre-pregnancy weight.
Had no heart burn, terrible charlie horses, etc.
This time I had nausea from about 6-10 weeks but it improved significantly at around 10 weeks. I haven't thrown up once (I am 22 weeks along now.) I have gained 12 lbs I've had bad heartburn --- actually first time I've experienced heart burn in my life! And not one charlie horse yet, thank goodness!

Mine have been very similar. Horrible morning sickness well into the second trimester and painful hernia and varicosities. This time everything is a bit worse though... except my skin, it was worse with DS. We are having a DD this time.

Re: BTDT Moms: Were your pregnancies the same or different?
Totally different.
With I had some nausea, cravings for salty stuff (chips, pickles) & I carried MUCH higher, so was less swollen.
Now with , I crave sweets and am super swollen. I have veins where I never saw them before & walking is becoming really hard. I do have less reflux though.

The same - but the opposite My first two were pretty similar (not really too sick, some acne but not horrendous). My first two are boys.
This one has been TERRIBLE for sickness and horrendous acne. I don't know if it means anything, but I'm leaning girl just because of how different it's all been. I won't know until I deliver - we're

Re: BTDT Moms: Were your pregnancies the same or different?
Completely different and both are
#1: I had a few complications in the very beginning but otherwise - smooth sailing. I was very nauseous and had more food aversions.
#2: I've had one complication after another and have been on some sort of bed rest/pelvic rest since week 4. I'm at week 25 now and being faced with the possibility of a hospital stay on thanksgiving. This one I'm not nauseous at all and starving all the time.
Needless to say, I'm 2 and thru!
